Buck is a very sweet beagle.  He's shy at first but warms up very quickly.  He's learning how to live outside a cage and he loves all things house-related!  He thinks having a warm bed, soft couch, and someone to love is the best thing ever!  He plays with the dogs and cats in his foster home and LOVES tennis balls more than anything.  He acts much like a puppy and is really just a darling little dog.  Small even for a beagle, he's a great size for someone who wants a small dog but one that is hardy and low maintenance grooming wise.  He has a great nose and could probably be trained for things like tracking or even perhaps SAR but he'll be happy just to be your pet.  Everything he does is adorable and he's guaranteed to bring smiles and joy to any home.

In Buck's pictures you'll notice some scarred areas on his muzzle (which have already started getting more hair on them)- we think he was kept in some kind of small type cage and tried getting out. by pushing with his nose, cutting himself.  The marks seem to be old and he's gotten more fur covering them since his arrival in foster care.

Buck is neutered, HW negative and on flea and heartworm prevention, UTD on shots, has had a dental cleaning leaving his teeth pearly white, and will be microchipped prior to adoption.
