Description: Nola a very nice girl, typical border collie- a little reserved but upbeat, confident, intelligent. Say the word "walk" and her head snaps around so fast you'd think her neck just broke. She also knows "sit" and "down" and likes to go for rides.
This girl has a typical black and white border collie pattern, with a shortish- not smooth but kind of medium- coat, UTD on shots, and it appears she's already spayed (you can feel the sutures from her surgery). She drinks a lot of water and so is seeing a vet for testing/diagnosis but seems very healthy, not symptomatic for diabetes or anything else. She's overweight and so may end up with arthritis but with a good diet she will be much farther ahead.
Nola is a sweetheart who will lay down with you to have her belly rubbed or just to relax. She tolerates handling including nails, brushing, checking teeth, vetwork (needles..) etc and is ok with other dogs though she is an alpha-type personality. She needs someone who will exercise her daily to help get her weight off. She listens well off leash and is already learning her new name- Nola.
