Beautiful, sweet, active, and charming. Sound like the perfect girl? We think she is!

Chloe came to our rescue after it became clear that she was not compatible with her former family's kids and lifestyle. When we first met Chloe, she kept her tail low because she was unsure of herself around new people and situations. Now though she still needs work on confidence, the only time it's not wagging or held high over her back signaling playtime is when she's laying or sitting. :) She's attended several events as well as gone to PetCo to spend the day at an adoption table. In every situation, she has been friendly, polite, and soaked up all the attention that she could get just like a pro, even saying hi to strange dogs by trying to get them to play with her.

We don't know what kind of dog Chloe is exactly, but we feel it's safe to mention chow and border collie primarily, with perhaps some shepherd, retriever, and who knows what else thrown in the mix! No matter what, she's a silky, soft, huggable, sweet dog who is purebred adorable! ;) Chloe needs a home with someone who will be sweet to her but also firm and consistent. Families with children are welcome to apply but she will not be adopted to a home with young kids as she feels uncomfortable in their presence. Chloe is a very active dog who loves walks, car rides, toys, and playing with other dogs. She gets along with every other pooch she's ever met. Her best friend in foster care is a big deaf English setter. They lie on the floor together pawing and mouthing each other, chase one another from room to room, and tease each other with toys. Chloe would love to live with other dogs in her new home though it's not a requirement. Chloe needs a home with someone who will be sweet to her but also firm and consistent. Families with children are welcome to apply but she will not be adopted to a home with young kids as she feels uncomfortable in their presence.

Chloe understands basic commands like "sit", "down", "crate", and "come." She's learning "leave it," "shake," "high five," and "roll over!" She has shown proficiency on starter level agility equipment, is learning commands for professional-style disc-dog play, and is food motivated enough to learn nearly anything else you could want to teach her! She's got some residual confidence issues from a rough past, and trianing will help her overcome that. We feel that Chloe would be great for someone interested in Rally, Frisbee, Agility, or even perhaps Canine Freestyle! No matter what you decide to do with her, it is guaranteed that she will do her best to make you happy! Chloe is totally housebroken, not destructive, not a big shedder and she is crate trained. In her foster home, however, she has graduated from a crate and has free roam of the home all the time. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed. She has an appointment to see the rescue vet and be heartworm tested and placed on heartworm preventatives and will be able to go to a new home immediately afterward!
