Honey is a shelter transfer who is currently "incarcerated" in the HOPE program, a training program offered by the Central PA Animal Alliance where the dogs stay with inmate canine handlers who are able to spend ample time working on behavior modification and training.
Honey is a big, beautiful girl who just wants your love. We believe she's a rottie mix, maybe with shepherd, maybe even great dane. She just needs some reinforcement on her basic manners. She's good with other dogs, but can be a little bossy from time to time so we'll be working with her on her pack manners. All in all, she's a keeper and she'll be ready for a home of her own very, very soon! To read her prison journal updates or complete an adoption application, see the link below.
