How to Make Cash Donations

STAR is a registered 501(c)3 charity, meaning your donations are tax deductible!  Contact us if you need a receipt for your records.  Without financial support from our generous donors, we would have no chance at continuing our rescue mission.

Have a jar of pennies just waiting to be cashed in?  Perhaps your purse or pockets are getting loaded with change.  Chances are you won't miss this if you were to donate it, but every cent is one penny closer to our goals!  There is always a need for financial help in rescue, and especially one as young as ours.  We need your help!  Please, click the donate button below or email for more info on donating!

How to make In-Kind Donations

If you have supplies or coupons that you are not using, consider sending them our way!

Items you can donate:

• Animal supplies for dogs, cats, birds, small animals, reptiles
• Cages, dog crates, tanks (can be used if in fair shape)
• Building supplies- wood, fencing, screen, hardware cloth, chicken wire, etc (can be used)
• Ink Jet cartridges for Epson (# 69) (for printing fliers, applications, contracts)
• A fax machine
• A digital camera for taking photos for the web
• Stamps, envelopes, paper, other office supplies
• Items that can be sold at fundraisers
• Items that can be raffled off (like those Christmas presents you don't want to return!)
• We use Frontline (dogs and cats) and Heartgard or Tri-Heart(dogs), or Revolution (dogs and cats), or Advantage (cats)
• We feed Holistic Select, Taste of the Wild, or California Natural primarily (dogs) and Oxbow (guinea pigs/rabbits)
  
• We use panacur or strongid wormer (cats and dogs)
• Coupons for any of the things listed here are appreciated!
